LIGHTSHEER

HAIR LASER TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY

About

LightSheer® uses a state-of-the-art diode laser technology with a wavelength of either 805nm or 1060nm. A precise laser pulse targets the hair follicle while leaving the skin unharmed. Today, diode laser is the most commonly used technology for hair removal, enabling safe and effective treatment of all skin and hair types.

A diode laser uses semiconductor technology that produces coherent projection of light in the visible to infrared range. It uses a light beam with a narrow spectrum to target specific chromophores in the skin. Compared to other laser systems such as the Ruby and Alexandrite, the 800nm diode laser wavelength offers the deepest penetration levels and superior melanin absorption. These unique characteristics make the diode laser the most suitable technology for laser hair removal, enabling safe and effective treatment of all skin and hair types, in all body areas.

Efficacy 1,2

Compression of the skin reduces competing chromophores, and pulls the target closer to the laser source which delivers energy efficiently.

Safety 2

Epidermal protection through continuous sapphire contact cooling. Lower fluence is required per pulse.

Comfort 2

ChillTip Integrated Contact Cooling Technology minimizes pain during treatment, increases comfort.

Laser Hair Removal

What I liked best about the LightSheer is the science of the vacuum assisted technology. As the skin is gently suctioned into the handpiece, the melanocyte density is reduced. Those hair follicles are closer to the energy source. Heat is going to go into the hair follicle, and destroy it.

Time is money – for me and my patients. When you offer patients a solution that will have great results and doesn’t have downtime or require a lot of their personal time, they are absolutely ready to sign up.
